Full Job Description

Flexible / Variable Hours, Job Share, Other Agile Working Arrangements / Open to Discussion, As a Senior Technical Delivery Manager, you'll be responsible for coordinating large scale change that requires cross-cutting engagement across multiple Business Units, Functions and/or 3rd parties.,

  • Works with stakeholders across the Group to ensure that platform or Group-wide initiatives, including legal and regulatory requirements, are appropriately prioritised across necessary product backlogs, on behalf of the PO for the initiative.

  • Leads a team of TDMs to coordinate complex integration.

  • Establishes pivotal integration points across Platforms and effectively communicates these integration points to relevant stakeholders.

  • Works with backlog owners across the Group to understand progress against delivery timelines.

  • Collaborates with Platform Leadership and Product Owners Team to plan and prioritise technical delivery related tasks.

  • Proactively identifies critical risks to delivery and instigates recovery action with appropriate senior stakeholders.

  • Is a key escalation point to resolve blockers and works with platform leaders to resolve interlock challenges between platforms.

    What you'll need:
  • Agile Methodology & Tools - Holds overall responsibility for leading, inspiring and engaging a large and diverse teams across the business, delivering high priority or significant change to the Bank.   • Stakeholder Management - Uses personal impact to build and sustain long-term relationships at all levels (including C-suite Executives). Resolves conflict, builds consensus and influences outcomes.

  • Planning, Tracking, Reporting & Governance - Draws on appropriate Status Reporting, Product/Platform/Lab Roadmaps and attendance at agile meetings to form a view on progress, status, risks and issues and resolves high priority issues affecting delivery. Takes accountability for delivery forecasting. Identifies opportunities to improve delivery speed and quality, by identifying risks/issues/dependencies that are not easily evident while helping others to acknowledge them.

  • Emotional Intelligence - Uses customer/colleague input to anticipate needs and steer targeted and outcome-focused plans. Anticipates negative emotions and strives to resolve conflict in a respectful way.

  • Leadership & Culture - Uses situational judgement and experience to advise on a broad range of cultural topics (e.g., ethical leadership and accountability), using strategies such as deep listening to ensure the colleagues of the Bank are engaged. Understands the importance of change management in this space and works with the appropriate function to facilitate this.

    WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.
