Full Job Description

My client is a growing and reputable award winning practice based in Edinburgh city centre dealing primarily within a niche market of High net Worth individuals. A rare job has become available due to growth of the business and company performance for a highly skilled, experience and technical paraplanner (diploma qualified but ideally chartered) to join their close knit team to work closely with the managing director.

A large amount of the job will be providing investment analysis along with risk profiling for the clients on their books, reviewing and creating reports on behalf of the firm. Working as part of a team of Paraplanners and Sales Support administrators, you will be responsible for research and report writing across a wide range of financial services products including investments, pensions and life products also. You will work closely with the Managing director and work in partnership with him to advise and identify any areas of weakness or potential areas for improvement in the business.

It is imperative that you will be highly skilled in suitability report writing and research, accustomed to liaising with clients and providers via telephone and face to face. Excellent communication skills together with a highly attentive nature, committed to a highly technical role in paraplanning at a senior level.

The ideal candidate will be diploma qualified and ideally close to Chartered status with previous wealth management experience.
In return, you will receive an outstanding salary package along with the chance to progress your career within first class IFA and work in a relaxed, professional and niche area. Please submit your details for immediate review and to discuss with Alison Curran prior to proceeding.
