Full Job Description

  • Subject matter expert supporting incident, problem and change across several applications within the platform.
  • Support the planning of the strategy for the service team.
  • Build capability and the skillset to ensure the service team is ready for incoming and future new services.
  • Train and upskill others across the team on the new solutions and stay close to other potential migrations.
  • Creation and retention of Documentation to run service.
  • Work with service leads to identify trends and support in adding service blockers onto the Lab backlogs.
  • Look for ways to continuously improve our ways of working.

    Demonstrates a strong comprehension and work history of ITIL disciplines
  • Passionate about providing the best customer experience.
  • To communicate effectively and can build working relationships with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, ranging from software engineers to senior business leaders.
  • Comfortable with challenging stakeholders and can explain technical and complex scenarios using inclusive and accessible language.
  • Is used to operating in a highly pressurised environment and can remain calm in situations whilst maintaining focus.
  • Has an appetite to continuously improve.
  • Is innovative and takes an interest in industry best practices
  • Analytical, can analyse incident data and explore patterns to help mitigate risks.
    • What will be Desirable
  • Knowledge of modern software development toolsets including Cloud platforms Containers, Kubernetes, API's.
  • Experience in working with Dynatrace and Splunk.
  • Proven experience in hands-on Service engineering using a broad range of technologies including those listed below.
  • Microservices
  • Java
  • Unix/Storm/Spark
