- Utilize your extensive knowledge of industrial power systems, particularly in medium and high voltage electrical technology, to ensure EHS compliance. We prioritize zero injuries.
- Serve as a role model for EHS standards in the field, collaborating with GE EHS leadership, service management teams, and customers.
- Deliver comprehensive field services while maintaining high standards of EHS, Quality, and Delivery.
- Expand your technical expertise according to recognized industry standards, fostering self-development and problem-solving skills.
- Manage administrative functions like safety plans, risk assessments, and technical reports.
- Build strong customer relationships and proactively resolve issues with a keen eye for detail.
Are you experienced in Power Generation, installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing Medium/High Voltage Electrical Equipment? If so, then GE is interested in you. - Efficiently utilize computer tools like MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Travel is essential, with 80% of work located in Africa, Russia, Asia, and the EU. We are looking for a committed and professional individual with:
- Electrical field engineering background, Electrical maintenance supervisor experience in relevant industries such as steel mills, oil, gas, petrochemical facilities, paper mills, materials handling, mining, or MV/HV electrical testing.
- Technical skills in power distribution and/or Drives, controls & automation.
- Excellent customer service orientation and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work efficiently without direct supervision.
- Fluency in English.
- Valid passport and driver's license to meet travel requirements.
- Possession or ability to obtain BPSS security clearance.
- Successful candidates will be employed under local employment conditions and must already satisfy local employment/work permit and residency regulations. What will make you stand out:
- Ideally located in the UK, Ireland, Spain, or Italy, with flexibility for work in continental Europe, Africa, Asia, or Russia.
- Ability to obtain a Valid Offshore Survival training certificate (BOSIET, MIST, etc.)
- Willing and eligible to work worldwide and offshore at short notice.
- Experience in PLC programming and familiarity with Omicron test equipment (Not essential).
