- To work as part of a designated staff team, operating at all times within Centre and House Policies.
- To participate, as appropriate, in the house communication system. This may be verbally e.g. at staff handovers, meetings, by telephone etc. or in written form e.g. log books, diaries and, where appropriate, case notes.
- To work within appropriate personal and professional boundaries, ensuring all information regarding young people and staff is treated with appropriate levels of confidentiality and sensitivity.
- To provide a safe environment for all young people and staff by being vigilant at all times, complying with Health and Safety guidelines, and maintaining appropriate checks on young people and the unit environment.
- To undertake any other relevant duties as directed by a senior staff member.
