Full Job Description

- The base location for this role is Glasgow or North Lakes What you'll do
- Working closely with the SHE Manager to drive SHE culture
- Supporting the SHE Manager to ensure the successful implementation and monitoring of policies, procedures and processes
- Creating an atmosphere in which communication through all levels of management and non-management is encouraged
- Completing audits and inspections
- Conducting investigations into accidents, incidents, injury complaints and compensation claims
- Maintaining electronic records, compiling evidence and case files for accidents, incidents, injury complaints and compensation claims
- Attending meetings to update performance with site teams
- Offering our employees and customers a high level of service by providing guidance and support on SHE matters
- Promoting continuous improvement in SHE through engagement and monitoring of standards
- Ensuring the values remain firmly embedded in the daily activities of all personnel within SC sites and retail region
Have experience of, and the ability to multi-task and work with multiple priorities calmly and at pace - Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have strong administrative and organisational skills
- Enjoy being part of a hard-working team, sharing the same end goal, and celebrating results together

- Want to develop and are ready to work alongside some great people and have lots of fun on your Greggs journey! Desirable Skills :
- NEBOSH General Certificate or other general safety qualifications / achievements (or a desire to work towards)
- Experience of environmental management procedures, (waste, water, energy etc)
- Experience of auditing
- Engineering or machinery-based experience
- Fire Safety qualifications
- Are a strong team player, able to build good working relationships at all levels.
