Are you a skilled Section Engineer with a passion for delivering complex projects? We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced professional to join a dynamic team working on some of the most exciting and high-profile infrastructure projects in the UK.


About the Role: As a Section Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects across various sectors, including rail, highways, and civil engineering. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing site operations, ensuring that work is carried out to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring that project milestones are met.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain the highest standards of quality.
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including reports and method statements.

Requirements:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in civil engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in a Section Engineer role, preferably within the infrastructure sector.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS) are highly desirable.
