Site Engineer

Peace Recruitment has a great opportunity for an ambitious Site Engineer.

You'll play a pivotal role in rail and civil engineering projects throughout Scotland. From planning and design to on-site implementation, you'll be at the forefront of turning innovative ideas into reality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting site surveys and assessments to inform project planning and execution.
• Manage and execute all setting out duties on-site, ensuring accuracy in line with project specifications.
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Overseeing construction activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Providing technical expertise and guidance to resolve on-site challenges and optimise project outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate project documentation and reporting.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in site engineering within the rail and/or civil engineering sector.
• Proficiency in setting out using Total Stations, GPS equipment, and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
