An exciting Site Executive opportunity has arisen at our Faslane site supporting the NRPA and Babcock.,

  • Strategy: Actively participating and shaping the development and execution of the Submarines strategy in the Clyde area.

  • Leadership: Will need to understand the local operating environment. Identify the drivers for change. Will influence stakeholders to drive forward that change.

  • People Capability: Supports the definition of skill and professional knowledge; identifying, co-ordinating and delivering training; supporting the development of others; providing active mentoring.

  • Capability Development: Leading the development and application of new capabilities; leads capability development projects in the Clyde area.

  • Collaboration: Proactively participating in internal and external networks of interested stakeholders. Actively involved in the implementation of strategic collaborative relationships.

  • Knowledge Sharing: Leading the sharing of Best Practice; representing their business as an authority in their defined subject; provides concise justification for decisions; records and captures salient information., The professional level and the salary of the position will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate.

    To work for the Rolls-Royce Submarines Business an individual has to hold Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if the individual does not currently already have this in place.

    Due to the nature of work the Business conducts and the protection of certain assets a person has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non ITAR country.

  • Proven leadership qualities and ability to lobby and influence stakeholders.

  • Good grasp of strategic issues across Subs Enterprise and able to develop and influence strategy development in Submarines Business.

  • Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships at all levels and influence key decisions.

  • Understanding of Products and Services being delivered to the local site by the various RR delivery units.

  • Professionally qualified Engineer. (UK minimum BEng degree or other national equivalent)

  • UK CEng (Chartered Engineer) and Fellow of Professional institution.

  • Very good knowledge and participation of the activities and operations undertaken by the customer at the Waterfront.

  • Excellent knowledge of the product and NSQEP activities. For example, membership of an Authorisation Group. (e.g.PAG/RTG)

    The Site Executive Clyde is a new role to influence the customer base in the Clyde area to help improve Submarine Availability. This is in complete alignment with the Submarines Strategy of being a brilliant partner. The Site executive will lead the local teams based at site and influence the wider Rolls-Royce effort for delivery of products and services into Faslane. Be a senior leader based full time at the local site rather than Derby.
