Full Job Description

We are looking for Site Cabinet Fitter / Site Joiner / Multi Trade Professional (based on site)

We need a variety of trades to work on site alongside our cabinet makers and fitters. You might have to strip out an old kitchen or create a new wall in preparation for our cabinetry to be installed. Or you could be part of our skilled cabinetry team. We work on high end projects and so you need to be methodical and thorough in your approach.

  • Previous experience in a Cabinetmakers Company or Construction firm (at least 2 years).

  • Have some experience in joinery, plumbing and/or electrical work. Or be an experienced cabinet maker / fitter.

  • Ability to read and understand complex site and cabinetry drawings is essential.

  • Ideally have a full clean driving license. You need to be available to travel, most of our work is around Edinburgh but we do occasionally work in the rest of the UK and abroad.

  • Eye for detail and desire to learn.

Colin Parker Furniture is an Edinburgh-based studio and workshop specialising in designing and manufacturing free standing and fitted furniture. Our team is dedicated to creating unique pieces that seamlessly blend innovation with tradition, providing our clients with timeless, functional, and beautiful furniture.

  • Our workshop is based in Edinburgh (EH28 8LH) but you could be working anywhere in Scotland or internationally. Travel expenses outside of Edinburgh will be paid and the majority of your work will be within commuting distance of Edinburgh with the occasional travel further afield.
