**Site Manager – Rail & Civil Engineering Projects**


Are you an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in managing rail and civil engineering projects? Do you excel in leading site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, safely, and to the highest standards? If you’re ready for a new challenge, we want to hear from you!


Our client, a leading company in the rail and infrastructure sector, is seeking a talented **Site Manager** to oversee projects across Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic company at the forefront of delivering vital rail and civil engineering projects.


### Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day site activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required safety and quality standards.

- Lead and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.

- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to maintain clear communication and resolve any site issues or delays.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments.

- Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, safety documentation, and any changes to the project scope.

- Oversee the delivery of materials, manage resources effectively, and monitor project costs to ensure financial control.

- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and local authorities.


### Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Site Manager in rail, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects.

- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders.

- Comprehensive knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, including rail safety standards.

- Experience working under contracts such as NEC or similar, with a good understanding of commercial and contractual obligations.

- Ability to solve problems and adapt to changing project conditions with a proactive approach.

- SMSTS certification, PTS (Personal Track Safety) qualification, and a full UK driving licence are essential.
