Full Job Description

eace Recruitment is working with a Tier 1 Main Contractor who work across various market sectors delivering major commercial and industrial build projects throughout Scotland.

 

Our client is looking for a Site Manager to join the FM team based in North East office, covering Aberdeen and Dundee. You will have the responsibility of overseeing trades/labour and will be involved with the project(s) from inception to completion, as well as being client facing. You will work as part of the FM team to manage delivery of small works/project works & lifecycle in a customer focused and professional manner.

 

Qualifications;

  • SMSTS
  • CSCS (Black Card preferably)
  • First Aid

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • To manage the delivery of a small works service including low/medium/high risk activities through specialist supply chain partners throughout the assigned geographical region across multiple diverse client sites
  • Ensure delivery of a safe, customer focused, cost effective, efficient and compliant service to meet the contractual and legal obligations.
  • Reviewing and checking risk assessments and method statements and setting subcontractors to work
  • To provide support and assistance to other personnel on site in the delivery of contracted services
  • Coordination with all interested parties on approved projects to agree timescales and sequence of works.

You will have excellent knowledge of Health and Safety legislation including CDM 2015, temporary works, preplanning and subcontractor management.

 


This is a contract position for minimum of 16 weeks, offering a day rate of £240 - £250 per day, depending on experience and location.
