Full Job Description
- To Successfully facilitate up to three Sky Up Academy Studios sessions for young people aged 8-1 8 per day
- To Actively support young people who present with SEND to ensure session meets their needs
- To b e responsible for briefing all visitors to Sky Up Academy Studios and complete tours which will open the door to the world of work at Sky
- To e stablish boundaries and challenge inappropriate behaviour
- To a ttend regular training and development opportunities to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and local policy developments
- To w ork with the Youth & Social Impact Executive on the school's recruitment strategy with specific focus on underserved areas
- To e nsure all the correct due diligence has been done, including all safeguarding, legal, data protection and health and safety
- To s upport You th & Social Impact Manager and Head of You th & Social Impact with overall department strategy working closely with peers
This is an exciting role within Sky for someone, with role experience working in education roles, such as coaching or as a teaching assistant who is looking to make a change. Whether you're a nursery worker, a cover supervisor or from any other background including early careers, we want to hear from you. You'll be f acilitating a best-in-class educational experience that uses the power of television to equip young people with skills for the future. Using bespoke software and studio equipment, you will take small groups of students through the process of making content ., - Proactive and adaptable approach to work,

- Being a s trong communicator who can work both independently and within a team ,

- Proven experience of working with young people in education or community groups aged 8 - 1 8
