Full Job Description
Job Description
Based at Brambles Cottage, 10 James Chalmers Road, Arbroath. Rowan Cottage.
This job is workstyle 1 - Fixed.
In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. Depending on your role there may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week if you are not delivering your service at a council location.
Our Vision: We would like to offer a loving, fun and safe space to be you and dream big.
Brambles Cottages consists of two bespoke cottages on the same site. Both are modern facilities to meet the individual needs of the children and young people we support. Both cottages can cater for looked after young people aged 5 to 21 years.
Our services are inclusive and accessible to all children and the team provide love, care and support to children and young people within Angus. Our residential childcare workers create homely, welcoming environments in which children can develop a sense of emotional safety and belonging.
We are looking for workers with resilience who have the right personal skills and experience to support our young people.
Our services run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and the working pattern supports this. You may therefore be asked to carry out sleep-in and occasional waking night duties for which an allowance is payable.
