Full Job Description

  • Engaging with a variety of local stakeholders for projects.

  • Working with project teams and key local partners to deliver of agreed defined Community Impact KPIs during the lifecycle of each project.

  • Liaising closely with each project team and assisting with the creation of project programme to assist engagement and delivery.

  • Working with project team to establish and support the successful delivery of the Considerate Constructors Scheme across all projects.

  • Be instrumental in leading the site team in preparation for CCS inspections

  • Collating data and required evidence from project teams and supply chain to provide monthly reports for allocated projects KPI's, creating case studies of key activities delivered to share with clients and support future work winning opportunities.

  • Engage with proposals and framework teams to support work winning as required.

  • Champion future talent and opportunities through engagements and activities with external stakeholders.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with identified relevant client, education, employability and community stakeholders in the locations your allocated projects operate in.

  • Conduct, behaviours and working practices to be in line with working the Robertson Way.


  • Responsible for:

    Creating, supporting, monitoring and reporting community impact activities across projects including:
  • Facilitating and supporting; recruitment, training and social enterprise benefits.

  • Community engagement and other community objectives that may be agreed.

  • Ultimately supporting Robertson Group businesses to add value to the communities that we are working in.


  • Key Result Areas:
  • Company & Project profile raised through community impact activities and social value reporting

  • Local engagement activities delivered, and job opportunities created

  • Working with our clients to ensure that we are aligned to realise community focused objectives throughout the project.

  • Social Value & Community Impact targets of projects realised through partnership working internally and externally

  • Monitoring and regular reporting and social value on all allocated projects.

  • Production of case studies

  • Supporting delivery of Considerate Constructors Scheme on projects

    The role requires a confident, outgoing, well organised and results focused individual with a desire to achieve. Ideally with knowledge of the construction sector and with a background in either a community-based role and/or with experience in Training and Development to support, implement and deliver a variety of opportunities., Be self-motivated and driven to achieve current and future expectations

  • Prior evidence of working to tight deadlines, with strong organisation skills.

  • Strong communication & influencing skills. Able to develop and maintain relationships at all levels.

  • Ability to work independently and manage own workload.

  • Strong literacy skills, including experience of report/proposal writing. Excellent attention to detail.

  • Confidence in analysing and interpreting numerical data.

  • Prior experience of mentoring and supporting young people

  • Demonstrate experience of establishing, collating and reporting on KPI's.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations

  • Experienced user of Office 365 including - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & One Drive

  • Full driving license is required for this role.

  • Awareness of Health & Safety issues and the need for safe methods of working.

  • Understanding of community benefits/social value within the construction sector in the UK

  • A degree qualification is desirable not essential.
