Post Title: Social Worker (Children’s Disability Service)
Location: Inverness
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £41,386 - £44,790 p.a.

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: Provide a Social Work Service to children and families affected by disability, including children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This will include specific activities in relation to children who are or require to be accommodated and to the protection of children. It also includes providing a service to vulnerable young people in transition to adulthood and to adult services.

Provide a service for children and families who have complex health needs including life limiting health conditions.

Requirements

  • CQSW, Dip SW, CSS or approved equivalent professional qualification in Social Work
  • Current Driving Licence
  • Registered with the Scottish Social Services Council on the ‘Social Worker’ part of the Register
  • At least 3 years Social Work experience of working with children and families affected by disability
