Job Purpose: Highland Children's Social Work Services is on a journey of change, improvement, and transformation through our Families 1st vision - to safely keep as many children as possible within their families and connected to their Highland communities. Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council on the 'Social Worker' part of the Register and as such hold a qualification that is recognised by the SSSC as being equivalent to the Diploma in Social Work (DipSW).

We shall continue to build on our GIRFEC strengths, while we also fully embrace the transformational change in all calls for action to achieve the fundamentals of the Promise, which will be at the heart of everything we do.
