Full Job Description

We would love to welcome a social worker to join our friendly team in working for Argyll and Bute, one of Scotland's most stunning areas. The team operates mainly in the Western Argyll coastal and the associated islands Of Islay, Jura and Gigha, an area of significant natural beauty with a combination of rural and semi rural communities.

Essential: Qualification Dipsw, BA in Social Work, SSSC Registered and Driving licence. Desirable: MHO award, previous experience of working in the field of mental health.

Join us to make a difference. The role is based in a CMHT in the local community hospital in Lochgilphead and will involve travel throughout Argyll and Bute. The role will involve undertaking needs assessments to both in-patient and community service users who experience mental health difficulties. The role involves being part of a small team of social work colleagues and being supported and managed by the team leader.
