Job Summary

Temporary for 12 months.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Kilwinning Locality team within our Child and Families service. We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic social worker to work within our team. In this role you would be working alongside other professionals to create multi-agency care plans providing early, preventative, statutory and child protection interventions to children and families in our area.

The team comprises of Social Workers, Social Work Assistants, a family care worker, school based Social worker and Youth Support workers. As this is a locality team we are very fortunate to share our office with health colleagues comprising of Health visitors and health care support workers. Together the team are very passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people, practising in an innovative way, and we are looking for another member of staff to complement the existing service.

We have implemented Signs of safety and the Safe and Together models, with paperwork being redesigned to utilise these models to assist practitioners to have the tools to work in collaboration with the families and their supports in order to achieve the best outcomes for the family as a whole.
