Full Job Description
- Create and maintain robust, reliable, and comprehensive test cases to ensure the quality and performance of our web applications, focusing on functionality, usability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Leverage both Cypress and WebdriverIO to automate functional, integration, and regression tests, ensuring efficient test execution and reducing manual testing efforts.
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to define detailed, actionable, and clear acceptance criteria for user stories and features, ensuring alignment with business requirements and expected behavior.
- Develop reusable and scalable test suites to cover a wide range of scenarios, ensuring thorough validation of new features and existing functionalities across multiple environments.
- Continuously evaluate test coverage, identifying potential gaps, and proactively adding additional test cases to ensure comprehensive validation of the application.
- Work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to design effective technical solutions, identify potential risks, and ensure that the automation framework aligns with project goals.
- Use CI/CD tools and reporting systems to run automated tests, monitor test results, and communicate issues and progress clearly to the development team, ensuring quick resolution and continuous improvement.
- Advocate for and implement best practices in test automation, code quality, and software development processes to ensure a high level of product reliability and performance.
Proficiency in Cypress and WebdriverIO for test automation, with a solid understanding of test scripting, test execution, and debugging in both frameworks. - Experience using BrowserStack or similar tools for cross-browser and cross-device testing, ensuring applications work seamlessly across different platforms and environments.
- Strong knowledge of GitLab for version control, along with hands-on experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate test execution and integrate into the development workflow.
- Practical experience working in an Agile (Scrum) environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in sprints, and adapting quickly to evolving project requirements.
