As a Software Engineer for our Consumer Relationship Platforms, you'll design and develop software features or services that are vital in our mission to help Britain prosper. You'll be curious about technology, understanding how things work and will influence positively to solve customer problems using technology and Engineering practices. You'll work with the product and engineering leads to achieve the vision and customer outcomes for your Lab, through writing well-factored and tested code and building efficient and reusable back-end systems and abstractions. You'll lead, direct and shape approaches to solving technical challenges and translate business requirements into technical solutions. Why Lloyds Banking Group. - Design and develop applications in Java with automated tests to ensure it meets business functionality
- Use the Spring Boot framework for building our Microservices
- Hands-on experience working with APIs
- Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous development (CI/CD) and infrastructure as code (IaC) And any experience of these would be really useful:
- Good knowledge using modern technologies e.g. SQL Databases etc.
- Experience with Public Cloud Solution, ideally GCP or AZURE
- Diverse technical experience and a proven ability to deliver high quality applications at scale
- Agile experience and excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong experience of the entire software development lifecycle and experience in delivery of software.
- You're able to effectively communicate and work together across engineering to maximise inner-sourcing opportunities and reduce waste.
