Scottish Borders Council is looking for a solicitor to join our Legal Team.
The team places a strong emphasis on work/life balance and offers flexible working on a hybrid working model. The work is varied, and a high level of responsibility will be given, together with appropriate team support and training.
The post is in our People & Court team, working closely with colleagues in our Social Work and Education Teams. This would be an excellent opportunity for those that want to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable children and adults, while developing expertise within these areas of law and experience in Sheriff Court and Tribunal settings.

Essential

Degree in Scots Law
Diploma in Legal Practice
Full Practising Certificate
Computer Literate
Advocacy Skills
