Post Title: Solicitor (Litigation)
Location: Highland Council Headquarters, Inverness
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Maternity Cover for 9-12 Months
Salary: £46,191 - £50,505
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale

Job Purpose: To be a member of the team at HQ responsible for the Council’s Legal Services work relating to litigation and advice.

Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor holding an unrestricted practising certificate issued by the Law Society of Scotland, or a second year trainee nearing end of traineeship and holding a restricted practising certificate.
- Continual professional development as required by the Law Society of Scotland.
