Your Aramark journey starts here Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Junior Sous Chef to join our team at Aegon, UK. Edinburgh Park, Edinburgh, EH12 9SE. You will be responsible for organising and directing the team in the delivery of all food services to the client. the day-to-day running of the shifts when the Head Chef is not present, producing up to 1000 meals at a time. You will be well organized and be able to work well under pressure. Shifts range between, of all food services - so organisation and the ability to thrive under pressure is required! You will be responsible for the Chef de Parties and Commis Chefs, ensuring they are prioritising and highlighting orders required for the sections. To set up and break down lunch service You will be producing food in line with recipe sheets, and have full knowledge of all menu items served, including allergen information. Management of production and food levels to ensure minimal wastage. You will also be placing orders and keeping records of any stock wastage, alongside receiving deliveries, and ensuring they are stored correctly, and the FIFO method is followed. Carrying out deep cleans daily / weekly alongside your team, ensuring all staff are fully trained on their sections and have undertaken any relevant training as required. You will be set up for success if you have: Must have resided in the UK for the past 3 years and have legal right to work Must be able to
