You will work to support a major post-acquisition transformation programme. This is a day rate contract with excellent longevity running up to the end of December 2025 and potentially beyond. The role will be critical in ensuring the effectiveness of SOX controls as the organisation integrates and optimises its processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development of controls frameworks, overseeing testing, identifying deficiencies, and working with key stakeholders to enhance the bank's control framework.,

• Oversee SOX control testing to assess design and operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with finance, risk, audit, and business teams to ensure compliance with internal control requirements.
• Support control walkthroughs, ensuring appropriate documentation and evidence gathering.
• Provide insights on process improvements to strengthen controls and mitigate risks.
• Monitor compliance with SOX and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.
