Space Planning & Moves Coordinator

Location: Glasgow,

Hours of work: 40

Contract Type: Permanent


The Space Planner will be responsible for delivering space plan rearrangements, planning and implementing move projects, tasks, and move layout designs.

 

Job Description

As Space Planner, your responsibilities will include managing day-to-day small moves, office reconfigurations, and new furniture requests, as well as generating tasks and requests for maintenance or services related to moves. AutoCAD experience is essential.

Core skills required for this position include space planning, stakeholder engagement, contractor management, move management, and knowledge of building regulations related to office design.

While interior design or architectural skills are advantageous, the Service Provider must demonstrate the availability and skill set of their subcontractors' services to meet these requirements as part of their proposal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Using AutoCAD to help design and plan the spaces for client building / offices
  • Build strong relationships with the Stakeholders and Project managers to gain a knowledge of coming works
  • Schedule works to provide best value for the client and customer
  • Keep Moves tracker document up to date at all times
  • Ensure that POs are raised and tracked before work takes place
  • Provide regular updates on workload and pipeline works to the MAC manager

 

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Experience using AutoCAD
  • Demonstrate experience in managing financial tracking and operations
  • Demonstrate IT literacy capability for software application with full literacy with Microsoft Office suite including Teams.
  • Excellent communicator
  • Driving License
