Oliver Smith Recruitment are working in partnership with our key client in Bishopbriggs to recruit an experienced, Spanish or Italian Speaking Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

The successful individual will be a strong on Excel with pivot table experience. They will have high level accuracy and be a confident communicator. For this role you will need to be organised and deadline oriented with a hands on and analytical mindset.

Duties:

• Maintain the accounts' payable and receivable ledgers ensuring accurate recording and processing of transactions

• To reconcile Balance Sheet Control Accounts

• Reconciling accounts receivable and accounts payable each month, including the preparation of quarterly reports

• Communication with company Accountants

• Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.

• Process and post monthly petty cash and credit card expenditure journals.

• Undertake ad hoc project work when required
