Do you have an interest in Eating Disorders?

An opportunity has arisen to join the Tayside Nutrition & Dietetic Mental Health Team. The post is based in the Eating Disorders Service, in Dundee, but you will provide services across Tayside. This is a well-established post, where you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support adults living with eating disorders.

Ideally candidates should have previous clinical experience related to mental health and/or eating disorders. The post will initially focus on eating disorders, but there may be opportunities to support some work in general adult psychiatry. The post holder will have excellent inter-personal and communications skills and the ability to demonstrate good team working as well as being able to work autonomously are required.

The postholder will be supervised by the Mental Health Dietetic Team Lead and will also have strong links with the Lead Clinician for NHS Tayside Eating Disorders Service.

The Tayside Nutrition & Dietetic Service promotes collaborative working across all our teams. This enables and encourages the development and implementation of pathways, standards and innovative practice. It also allows for extensive peer support and opportunities for professional development. We are committed to the training of dietetic students, medical students and other healthcare professionals.

This is a proactive team, and the post offers an excellent opportunity for professional development and experience in this specialist area.

Applicants must be registered with the Health Care Professions Council.
