We wish to recruit a suitably qualified radiographer to join our existing Tayside MRI scanning team.  This post should appeal to a radiographer with MRI experience who wishes to expand their knowledge and be involved in developing MRI techniques.

We actively encourage staff to pursue additional responsibilities and post graduate education.

Flexible working patterns are required to cover extended operational hours across all our Tayside MRI sites.

The successful applicant will be expected to undertake training in the administration of contrast media and foreign body orbit x- ray reporting.

The hours are an average of 37 hours per week and may consist of 7.5 hour days (including weekends) , 12 hour days, and 7.5 hour back shifts.

Although the advertised post has Ninewells Hospital as the base hospital, there will be rotation to the other Tayside MRI Departments. Induction and training will take place across all the MRI sites.

As part of the National delivery plan for AHPs, NHS Tayside is developing services that offer direct access, 7 day service and genuine partnership with patients.
