The aim is for our workforce to be truly representative and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best. To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.

We have an exciting opportunity for a pharmacy technician to join the Pharmacy Education and Training team, to work with the Lead Pharmacy Technician to support the education, training and development of staff across the current and future NHS Tayside Pharmacy Service.

As a member of the Education, Training and Development team you will be a point of contact and source of advice for line managers, pharmacy support staff and pharmacy technicians in relation to their education, training and development needs.

This post will support the delivery of the Technical Apprenticeship Programme for Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technicians and the NES Vocational Training Foundation Programme for pharmacy technicians.  This will require close collaboration with NES colleagues and engaging in national professional networks.

This post holder will have previous experience in one or more sectors including Primary Care, Hospital or Community Pharmacy and be registered with the GPhC.  You should hold a work based assessor qualification recognised by SQA or be committed to undertake this at the earliest opportunity.
