Full Job Description
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
This is a permanent post. The shift pattern is flexible.
Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.
HCPC Registration is essential.

Are you a Speech and Language Therapist interested in young peoples mental health and wellbeing? An opportunity has arisen for a 22.2 hours Band 6 Specialist Speech and Language Therapist within South CAMHS. We are seeking an enthusiastic clinician with a wide range of paediatric clinical experience and preferable experience in working with speech, language and communication difficulties in the context of mental health and/or neuro
developmental difference. You would join our CAMHS SLTs who are embedded within multi-disciplinary Child and Adolescent Mental Health
Services (CAMHS) at Tiers 3 across NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde. Clinical supervision, caseload/workload management and mentoring are integral processes for SLTs working in CAMHS.
Internal and external CPD opportunities are available for staff to develop their knowledge, skills and experience. It is essential that you have a Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and have current HCPC registration.
