Recruitment Profile
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Waste Treatment team, this role would suit someone with an interest in recycling and who enjoys working in a customer service environment.
The role is an average of 16 hours Working three weekends per month - 16hrs per weekend
Due to the nature of the work involving a considerable amount of walking and lifting candidates must be physically fit.
Ability to work unsupervised Ability to foster a positive attitude towards team work Willing to undertake training/self development
Good interpersonal skills
Reliable time keeper
Able to undertake a range of tasks in an outdoor environment
Interested and enthusiastic about the work of the service .
Essential
A good standard of education (numeracy & literacy).
A current driving licence - Category B and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.* * If you have a disability which precludes you from holding a drivers licence, Scottish Borders Council will take into account its responsibility to make reasonable adjustments to allow for your disability.
