Specialty Dentist, Special Care Dentistry

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dentist to join the Special Care Team in Dundee Dental Hospital & School, one session per week.

The successful appointee will participate in the delivery of the Special Care Dentistry service. The Team provide specialist dental treatment to patients with a range of needs, including patients with complex medical issues as well as those with cognitive impairment, such as dementia and dental anxiety/phobia. Previous experience working with Special Care patients is desirable but not essential.

Clinical activity will be matched to the experience of the post holder along with supporting development within the post.

This post is available on a 0.1 WTE basis. Only a Wednesday morning session is available.

Applicants must have full GDC registration and a minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience
