Position

An opportunity has arisen for a fixed term Speech and Language Therapy Assistant Practitioner at Coylton Health Centre .

What you will do:

The Speech and Language Therapy Team delivers services at universal, targeted and specialist levels and aims to support the wellbeing needs of children, young people and their families, at the earliest opportunity by working in collaboration with our communities.

You will be working as part of our initiative to reduce waiting times across South Ayrshire, supporting children and their families. You will implement new and innovative ways of working and assist in the collection and collation of data.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

You will have strong written and oral communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and work constructively with a range of people.

You will have experience of working in a supportive role with individuals and their families and as part of a team.

Regular support and supervision and opportunities to enhance skills will be provided.

Hours:

22.5 per week.

Fixed Term/Secondment:

Please note this job is a fixed term/secondment until 31st March 2026.

UK Driving Licence:

UK Car licence is essential to this role.
