Spray Painter

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming.
-Mix and match paint colors to achieve the desired results.
-Load and unload paint lines.
-Apply paint and coatings using various techniques such as spraying, rolling, and
brushing.
-Ensure proper coverage and finish quality on all painted surfaces.
-Conduct paint inspections using wet combs and paint thickness gauges.
-Follow safety protocols when handling paint and chemicals.
-Maintain painting equipment and tools in good working condition.
-Assist with additional tasks as needed, including warehouse duties or basic
assembly.

Must have:
-Ability to use gravity fed spray guns or pressure pots. WFT Checks., Previous experience as an Industrial Painter or similar role.
-Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of industrial painting processes.
-Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and other painting equipment.
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings.
-Basic math skills for measuring and mixing paint quantities.
-Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus.
-Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
-Exceptional attention to detail.
-Minimum of 3 years of experience.
-Time served

Desirable Skills:
-Forklift and overhead crane license/experience.

Work Schedule:
4-day work week, Monday to Thursday, from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Occasional overtime on Fridays.

Training in powder coating steel will be provided if necessary.
