As a Sr Operator, Manufacturing at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will have the unique opportunity to play a crucial role in ensuring the flawless manufacture of cell culture media and reagents. Your exceptional attention to detail and proven track record of achieving performance expectations will be key in meeting the daily requirements of our production process. In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will also take the lead in assisting with any issues that may arise within the team, further showcasing your ambition and commitment to success., Determine the daily requirements for the manufacture of cell culture media and reagentsStrictly adhere to standard operating procedures to ensure a world-class level of qualitySuccessfully implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any production issues and maintain a seamless workflowCompete with industry standards by consistently meeting production targets and deadlinesInvestigate and correct raw material stock issuesRun daily schedules for multiple departments within manufacturing and release daily work orders.Generate BMR;s (Batch Manufacturing Record), creation, completion and review.Ensure systematic transactions are carried out real time to maintain stock accuracyCall out any raw material shortages.Show flexibilty across stream to ensure service levels are improved.Demonstrate attention to detail.Strong communication skills will clear and comprehensive shift handovers.Work within health and
safety guidelines.

Environmental ConditionsAdherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Office, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Previous experience working with documentation/paperwork, and/or qualitySolid understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control proceduresProven experience in manufacturing, preferably in a similar roleStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracyExcellent problem-solving skills to quickly address and resolve any production issuesAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentMust be able to work on a shift pattern, Back, Early, Night and be flexible to occasions shift change requirements when required
