Position
An opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse at North West Kilmarnock Area Centre.
What you will do:
The purpose of this role is to deliver community based mental health nursing care to individuals in the East Ayrshire area, who require assessment and treatment for a range of mental health difficulties. You will be able to demonstrate a high level of communication skills and be able to work well within a multi-disciplinary team as well as having the ability to work as confident and competent autonomous practitioner. You must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge base and confident ability to make clinical decisions. Experience and understanding of assessing and managing Risk are vital to the post. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate current thinking in relation to mental health care in an ever changing society.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
- RMN essential.
- Experience in Acute Mental Health setting desirable.
- A mature, responsible, empathic outlook on health care delivery which respects clients dignity and human rights.
- Ability to carry out delegated tasks effectively, timeously and to report on outcomes.
- Organisational skills.
