Full Job Description
Ward 6C is now recruiting for an enthusiastic staff nurse to join our dynamic and supportive nursing team.
Working in a 30 bedded ward that specialises in cardiology, endocrine, diabetes and general medicine, the successful candidate will be passionate about providing patients with the highest standards of care, ideally have an interest in healthcare innovation, and be someone who is inspired to drive through changes in Daily Dynamic Discharge and patient flow.
You will be able to provide good time management and prioritise your workload and become a good team player.
You will be well supported in our team.
Experience of working in a cardiology / general medicine ward would be advantageous, however Ward 6C offers many learning experiences for staff nurses and interested applicants are encouraged to make contact with the ward to find out more about the work of the team.
We have recently been nominated by UHI by providing exceptional support in clinical practice for Nursing Students.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week. If you have any questions or concerns please contact the Recruiting Board.
