Full Job Description
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
This is a permanent, part-time post of 34.1 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Monday to Sunday.
Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a staff nurse to join our team within the day surgery unit and Ward 1A at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow.
We are looking for a motivated, caring and compassionate nurse who is able to work well under pressure within a high turnover, surgical unit.
The unit comprises of a day surgery unit and 19 inpatient beds, including a designated sleep lab and deals with a variety of general surgical, gastroenterology, orthopaedic, urology, ophthalmology, ENT and plastic surgery. The unit is open Monday to Saturday encompassing a rotational shift pattern.
