An exciting opportunity has arisen within Ward 54, Victoria Hospital for a 1st level trained nurse to join our team.
NHS Fife specialises in many developing and innovative procedures and is one of the fastest growing Urology departments in Scotland.

You will be joining a well motivated and dynamic team who are committed to delivering the best care to our patients, and continue to build on positive patient experiences.
Our ethos is based on teamwork and you will be supported with a skilled workforce to help you deliver safe and effective care.

We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills necessary to perform this role safely and efficiently, to have a commitment towards patient safety and delivering the best quality patient care, enhancing the patients experience whilst in hospital.

There is the opportunity to rotate to the Urology Diagnostic Centre for your development and career progression.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay.  This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.  This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours.  However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Recruiting Board.

A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Prior to appointment.
