An exciting opportunity has arisen within Ward 54, Victoria Hospital for a 1st level trained nurse to join our team.

NHS Fife specialises in many developing and innovative procedures and is one of the fastest growing Urology departments in Scotland.

You will be joining a well motivated and dynamic team who are committed to delivering the best care to our patients, and continue to build on positive patient experiences.
Our ethos is based on teamwork and you will be supported with a skilled workforce to help you deliver safe and effective care.

This post is advertised for the in-patient urology surgical ward where there will be the opportunity to rotate within the ambulatory Urology diagnostic centre based at the Victoria Hospital and Queen Margaret Hospital for career development and progression.

You should be enthusiastic, dynamic, caring and compassionate, with a keen interest in Urology & Surgical nursing. You should be self motivated, and strive to deliver high quality patient focused care. Previous surgical or urology experience desirable.

We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills necessary to perform this role safely and efficiently, to have a commitment towards patient safety and delivering the best quality patient care, enhancing the patient's experience whilst in hospital.

There is the opportunity to rotate to the Urology Diagnostic Centre for your development and career progression.

Experience within an acute hospital ward is desirable, although not essential, as supervision and support will be available to orientate you into the role.
