Position

An opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse based at University Hospital Ayr.

What you will do:

An opportunity as arisen for a highly driven, motivated, dynamic and dedicated individual to join the team within the Emergency Department at University Hospital Ayr. You will be a registered nurse with current NMC registration, previous emergency nurse experience is desirable. Evidence of team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

To undertake this role you must to be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills with nursing colleagues and members of the multi-disciplinary team. You will be instrumental in ensuring a continuum of service delivery by responding to the many challenges presented on a daily basis to maintain a safe, effective, person centred care.

Hours:

Post 1 37 hrs permanent

Post 2 37 hrs permanent

Working a shift pattern of days and nights rotation over 7 days.
