Position

An opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse based at University Hospital Crosshouse.

What you will do:

This is an excellent opportunity to work in our busy ward.  Ward 3B is a 34 bedded area dedicated to the care of medical patients with a respiratory speciality.

You must be a motivated individual with excellent communication skills.  You will be required to work as part of the multidisciplinary team in the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate person centred care.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

Drive, energy and enthusiasm along with a genuine interest in the area are required. You must also have the ability to work unsupervised.  You must have good verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team and a flexible approach is essential. 

The ability to work under pressure with a high turnover of patients is essential.

Hours: 34.04 hours per week
