Position

An opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse based at Redburn Ward, Ayrshire Central Hospital

What you will do:

Redburn Ward is a busy 20 bed Stroke Rehabilitation Unit  which covers both North and East Ayrshire, we work closely with our AHP colleagues to ensure our patients have the best outcome possible by delivering person centred treatment plans which includes patients own rehabilitation goals.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

You must be a 1st level registered Nurse with a genuine interest in Rehabilitation, in particular after stroke. Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills are also imperative. You will be expected to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and show commitment and dedication to deliver a high quality service for our patients.  Evidence of lifelong learning and continuous professional development is also essential.

Hours: 34.1 per week

Your hours will be flexible, working a mix of long and short shifts, depending on needs of the service.
