setActively plan and deliver training material for skills-based training and assessment centreSupport the business through the allocation of shifts through both direct staff and with the use of casual staff and staffing agencies.Manage appropriate budget lines to ensure commercial efficiency.Manage agency partners to strict SLA's.Build a robust training plan using our existing suppliers to deliver best in class training. Review and manage online training platforms to update modules to remain compliant with current legislation.Manage and execute an annual calendar of core training needs that supports all employees including training aligned to first aid, H&S safety, and licensing.Ensure all processes with regards to the security aspects of the venues, stock, personnel, and client's expectations are reached and maintained pre, during and post events.Focus on central initiatives to benefit young talent entering employment with Heritage Portfolio including apprentice and internship schemes.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATEYou will have previous training and staffing experience and possess the tenacity and expertise to ensure that you meet recruitment targets. You will have the expertise to recognise training requirements and the ability to build a robust training plan to support the requirements.You will also have:EssentialStrong interpersonal skillsExcellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressureGood Microsoft Office skillsDesirableKnowledge of HR policy and practicePresentation skills to present information appropriately at all levelsOperations experiencePrior experience of delivering training sessions on specific industry topicsExperience of working with time and attendance systemsExperience of working with diverse populations and designing inclusive training programs that address the needs of individuals from various backgrounds and skills levels is essential.WHAT WE OFFERYou will be rewarded with a salary of £28,000 to £32,000 plus access to a range

Heritage Portfolio is seeking an experienced Staffing and Training Manager.Reporting into the People Operations Manager it will be your responsibility to recruit and train employees to ensure that we meet our venue requirement for highly trained staff to cover both high-volume events and busy café, restaurant and bar environments.You will support the allocation of staff and deliver meaningful training programs across our entire portfolio of venues. You will play a crucial role in implementing and managing recruitment and training programs effectively by planning and executing a robust recruitment and training plan that will ensure a successful delivery to our clients.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESBuild a robust training plan to support the needs of our direct casual employees in fixed site roles within retail as well as in casual roles supporting Racing and events.
