Anderson Knight Recruitment is proud to partner with one of our key clients, a well-regarded investment firm, to recruit a Statutory Reporting Accountant. Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Statutory Reporting Accountant to join our client’s finance team. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience in accounts preparation and a strong grasp of financial reporting standards. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely completion of statutory financial statements and maintaining compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all statutory financial statements for regulatory submissions.
- Conducting in-depth analysis and reconciliations to support statutory and financial reporting requirements.
- Collaborating with internal and external auditors to streamline the audit process and provide required documentation.
- Working closely with senior stakeholders to offer insights and recommendations based on financial results.
- Supporting the finance team in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Assisting with additional financial reporting projects and other tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Experience in statutory accounts preparation within a similar financial environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, including UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across various levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting software.
