Stock Yard operator Stock Yard Operator

Based at our Dalbeattie sawmill, you will be responsible for a variety of duties across the Sawn Stock Yard, working within a team and individually. Specifically, some responsibilities of a Stock Yard Operator include:

• General housekeeping of Stock Yard.
• Part of a fast moving Despatch / Loading team..
• General maintenance of main routes on site for traffic/people movement.
• Driving heavy mobile plant.
  
  We are looking for a motivated individual who is production focussed and has the ability to meet deadlines. In addition, you'll have;
• Experience using heavy mobile plant would be preferred but is not essential as full training can be provided.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Be flexible and work well as part of a small team.
• A high level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Appreciation of quality and Health & Safety.
• Full Drivers Licence.
