Full Job Description

Are you a skilled Storesperson with a keen eye for inventory management and yard support? Join our client, a leading provider of marine and subsea services globally, where you'll play a key role in maintaining their stores and supporting operations.

Role Overview

You will manage all goods receiving, control inventory, and ensure an organised, efficient stores environment. Additionally, you'll support yard activities and assist with deliveries and collections using company vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory & Stores Management:

  • Receive, verify, and log incoming materials, ensuring accurate records.
  • Maintain stock levels to meet production needs.
  • Securely handle and store materials in line with company procedures.
  • Ensure the stores area is well-organised, safe, and compliant with HSE standards.

Yard Support:

  • Assist with moving materials and maintaining a tidy yard.
  • Operate forklifts for loading/unloading.
  • Package and prepare items for dispatch.

Driving:

  • Deliver and collect materials to/from customer and vendor locations.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain company vehicles.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Essential: Driver CPC, clean driving license (Light HGV up to 7.5 tons), Class 1 License, Forklift License (up to 16T).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in stores management, with a focus on inventory control.
  • Familiarity with fabrication/engineering workshops and HSE regulations.

  • Safety-conscious, with a high level of integrity and attention to detail.
