NLC2 £23,675 - £24,148

Based in Strathclyde Business Park, Bellshill, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient organisation, upkeep and security of the Facility Support Services stores and the materials and plant stored within. You will also be required to pick up, deliver and uplift to various locations throughout the geographical area of North Lanarkshire on a regular basis. A level of physical effort will be involved as lifting and carrying is part of the post.

Basic numeracy and literacy is required to ensure schedules/stock sheets are updated for both manual and electronic systems, along with knowledge of Health and Safety which is essential and previous manual handling training which would be desirable.

You will have a driving licence and minimum of 5 years driving experience with storeperson and van driving experience being an advantage.

Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills along with a customer focussed approach are essential.

The working pattern for this post is:-

Monday to Thursday         7.00am – 15:30pm

Friday                                   7.00am – 15.00pm
