Full Job Description
Morgan Hunt are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to work with a maintenance organisation as a Storesperson. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and an eye for detail to contribute to the efficient management the stores operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming stock deliveries.
- Organising and maintaining inventory in an orderly manner.
- Issuing and distributing materials to various departments within the council.
- Managing stock levels and ensuring adequate supplies are maintained.
- Updating stock records and ensuring accurate data entry into the inventory management system.
- Conducting regular stock checks and assisting with stocktaking.
- Ensuring that all goods are stored safely, following health and safety regulations.
- Communicating with suppliers and internal departments regarding stock orders and deliveries.
- Assisting with the preparation of reports on stock usage and availability.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience in a stores or warehouse role.
- Ability to operate inventory management systems or a willingness to learn.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in a store/warehouse environment.
- A valid Forklift licence
37 Hours Per week
Immediate Start

Long Term ongoing contract.
